The Westshore Rebels are a non-profit Canadian Junior Football team based in Langford, British Columbia. The Rebels play in the six-team BC Football Conference (BCFC) which is part of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) and competes annually for the national title known as the Canadian Bowl. The club has operated continuously since the late 1960s in Victoria, having previously been known as the Sharks, Payless, and the Hornets.
The Rebels play at Starlight Stadium in Langford, B.C. and maintain a 65-person roster, 15-20 coaches, numerous volunteers and a dedicated cheer team. Sponsorship proceeds fund team travel costs to the mainland and interior via bus and ferry, in addition to practice, training and game day facility rentals, insurance, meals, equipment, uniforms and game day expenses (e.g. broadcasts, ticketing, trainers, athletic tape etc.). We are able to provide a high level junior football program in our community dedicated to the on and off field development of our players, due to many generous sponsors and ongoing fundraising efforts.
